Eat your fruits!

Do you have a hard time getting your kids to eat their fruits and veggies? I do! Well at least with my son- he is very particular about the fruits he will eat. My daughter on the other hand could eat fruits all day. Veggies, well that’s for an other post!

As I start discovering the spring and summer kids collections, I can’t help notice a trend towards some very fruity colors and prints- expect to see lots of bright oranges and yellows this summer as well as hot pinks and intense shades of green.

One of my favorite spanish brands- Bobo Choses, has come out with the most wonderful and fruity collection. Every season they come up with a theme, and this time around it is called ”Petit Grocery”. You will find lot’s of great graphic tees with oranges, lemons and tomatoes, many cute all over prints with all of the same fruits. A nice little trip to the grocery store, all over your clothes! Mini Boden has a  fruity selection as well. I thought the lemon t-shirt was colorful and fun; they also have a great apples and pear bathing suit. I have to say their summer collection is quite exciting with lots of fun prints and high in color- definitely something to check out.

The crochet fruit necklace is from Wunway. I adore everything in this online store- from the clothes to the shoes and accessories. I can’t wait to see what more they will stock for spring.

How lovely is that pear sweatshirt? Those colors put together works so well. This little Etsy shop, Internaht, has a few fruit options I think you will love.

Lastly, if you are the crafty kind and would like to sew your own fruit stripe skirt, Skirt As Top has a simple and easy tutorial you should try. You can make a watermelon, lime, strawberry or orange skirt ( the one pictured above). These make for great summer skirts, don’t you think?

I’m thinking If these don’t get your kids to love and eat their fruits, then what will?

All of this is making me hungry…
