Mix it up and have fun with your girls room

WOW, how fun is this. A teens bedroom should be fun. Let her have what she likes and decorate her teen rooms with her taste. (With your help, of course)

This is a good way for your girl to express her ever changing tastes and what she likes and will be comfortable having in her bedroom.

Girls love a complete makeover of their rooms often, but it is not always necessary. Just change things up a bit every so often.

Add a velvet quilt or girls soft and brightly colored comforter set to her bed. Add that super fun decorative pillow.

Find that fabulous rug that has outrageous colors and design. How abbot a mirror for her wall? Where do most teens spend their time?? In front of a mirror. Hot pink whimsical mirrors will add color a depth to the décor of this fantastic space.

Brightly colored teen girl furniture is sometimes hard to find, we have it here at

Sweet and Sour Kids. Lime green, hot pink, teal, and orange.

Great desk for a teen bedroom

I came across this picture on Pinterest and I just thought it was so well done. It is simple, classy, sassy and fun. I think it is great use of space and well balanced in color and design.

Teen bedroom furniture and or dorm room desks can be easily put together and done so that your girl is a happy camper.

Shabby Chic girls wall ideas

With a variety of designs for teen girls bedroom, I happen to love this shabby chic and feminine décor. This is very simple to find: either in magazines or at a flea market to make a collage of beautiful floral pictures. Ivory, lavender, celadon green, yellow, soft pink in colors.

Add this to cream colored or pale pink or yellow walls. Bedding for girls in soft velvet can be in a duvet or a lovely quilt. Mix and match some oversized velvet shams with maybe some floral linen. Create a girlie shabby chic feel for your old fashion kinda gal. XOXO

Teen bedroom book shelf DYI

Looking for design ideas for your teen girls bedroom? Here is a great one that I came across on Pinterest, yes… my favorite source. Perfect for a little girls room, college dorm or teens room.

This multicolor painted bookshelf is just great. This can be new or used. Take an old bookshelf you found in the basement or buy a new at one of the home improvement stores.

I like the bright colors shown in the photo; it would also look great in pinks and white, black and white, lavender and purple, turquoise and aqua… so many color combinations.

Coordinate it with your children’s bedding set and her wall paint or teen bedroom furniture that is already in the room. If you are doing a complete redesign of the room, then whatever the new color pallet is that you have chosen will be great done in the bookshelf.
