Great ideas for painting your girls walls

Love the idea of using stencils to enhance the design of your girls bedroom. They are pretty easy to work with and bring an element to the décor of your beautifully decorated teen girls rooms.

You can use the stencil on a white wall or choose a contrasting color with the stencil color.

Example: Pastel Pink wall and hot pink stencil. Girls love this color combo.

Teen love teal and aqua. White is always good too. Blend it with your girls bedding set, her velvet quilt and shams and unique pillows that can be bought a Sweet and Sour Kids.

Enjoy this, super fun and easy

So many colors… So little time

Colors inspire me. For me they breathe life into a home, into a room, into a space whether it is small or large. Colors motivate me and give me energy.

I think colors do this for many people, kids especially.

When you are starting the design or makeover of your girls room, allow her to choose the colors within reason of course. Maybe give her a starting point or a range of colors to choose from. Here is where compromise comes to play.

Your teen girl wants bright turquoise walls… Solution: one bright turquoise wall behind her bed to blend with her new teen bedding set and the other three walls in a light aqua. Here is the win, win solution.

Your girl spends a tremendous amount of time in her bedroom and we get only a window of time with our girl if you think about it so let’s make her as happy as we can and choose our battles wisely.

Colors that inspire can mean a world of difference to your girls.

Next step her bedroom furniture, bed sets, lighting and teen room décor

Have fun!!

Teen bedroom Furniture…Turquoise Shelving

Super fun teen room shelving in bright bold colors like this is just fabulous. This is a fantastic piece for your girls room. It does come in many bright and bold colors that tween and teenagers love in their bedrooms. Orange, Lime Green, Hot Pink are first choices for furniture for kids bedrooms. I love this fun and whimsical piece but you can find many pieces like this maybe without the flower design just industrial type shelving and painted yourself in these designer colors and you too can have a shelving unit similar to this in your girls room.

Disney has great paint colors available at your local hardware stores and they have industrial shelving as well.

Paint idea for teen girls bedroom walls

Teen girls bedroom decorating can be done in many ways. A great place to start is with the walls. This is a great way to make a pattern paint job. It is genius. You can do one wall in your teens room in a bright color like turquoise, lime green, orange or hot Pink with done in this technique and the other three walls in a lighter shade of the same color the regular way.

How this is done: Wrap yarn or rope around a paint roller and you will have your pattern. I love this !! So simple and so great.

The things you can find on Pinterest are priceless. This is one of the many things I have found.

Inspiration and tips are always easily found at Sweet N Sour Kids

Your girls room should be fun, Enjoy…
